Just In Case (II)

By jellylegs
Sorry for doing this, but I got such good feedback yesterday on how to improve this that I said I'd give it a go.

Modified yesterdays upload to lighten the left hand side of the life buoy as suggested. I also lightened the image slightly overall, used curves to increase contrast & remove slight colour cast, dodged & burned, & went around and cloned out all the papers in the grasses.

I got rid of the dodgy border & replaced with this other dodgy border!

Interested in feedback again. Thanks.

Trevor.

Much better framing, and a "tidier" image.

Excellent work, better than last post so the effort was worth it!

This border is definitely better - adding to an already excellant picture. The colouring is an improvement over yesterday's version.

I'd have been delighted with either of these, but I do prefer this one.

Great moody in this image, love the lighting and the strength of colour...fabulous sky to match the detail in the FG.
Well done
