The larger version really is excellent. I'd have been tempted to zoom in on the castle and reflection more though if possible.

Lovely reflection shot Trevor, there seem to be some nice pastel pinks in the clouds and lighting, nice one

Lovely light and colouring. I quite like the viewpoint through the grasses and the birds silhouetted against the red-tinged cloud. Lovely shot.

Nice shot. I think the grass in the foreground lets it down a little (in front of the castle).

The colours in the sky and the reflection are great.

Great shot, love the refelection, think you've overdone the colour balance slightly with the sky, just a bit too much red, not reflected in the water.

Great landscape shot, I like the grass in the foreground, but feel that the blades blocking the castle distract a little.

Well all I can say to this is ... wow! ...you have got such a lot in it ... fabulous lighting and detail ... IMO I think the grasses ADD to the picture .... not take away anything .... the cloud detail and the reflections in the water ..... this is the kind of picture that you can look at in so many ways ... as there is so much there, without it being too "busy" ... GREAT shot .... love it ... Click*

A superb shot of a beautiful place - superb use of light and colour.

Thanks lads. Thanks Stephen (Tooth), I didn't know that. You've obviously been around this area? Are you still in Donegal as per your profile?

Yes trevor, Home is Donegal. North Clare (Doolin and the Burren) is where I escape to once or twice a year. This place is on the road there, so sometimes I stop and other times have to keep going. But it's a stunningly beautiful place, and the village of Kinvara itself is lovely. Are you based in Ireland or were all these shots taken on holiday?

Based in Galway. I normally head out the other direction.....Connemara, Clifden. I'm not too familiar with Kinvara, The Burren, but I hope to get there soon now that the good light of Autumn is coming.
