Just trying something different. Didn't really work. All comments welcome.
(ps-> Sorry about the corny title).
Beautiful photos put together...Excellent!
The photos in this montage are top quality and a pleasure to look at.
Seems to me they would work better as stand alone shots than as a compilation. But even as a compilation this is strong. Assume the smaller left bottom shot is a flipped over image of the larger one though. At least it looks like it. Think an alltogether different pose of her would have been better. And I'm wondering if the left top image would work better within the whole if you flipped it. But again, I like this a lot.
Great montage, each image is excellent in it's own right
Like the individual shots - as a montage doesn't really seem to work (my opinion here). Excellent B&W
Thanks for the feedback guys. It's nice to get some honest thoughts.
@Koen: Yes, the bottom shot is the main one flipped. I didn't have another shot similar, so I took the lazy way out. I was trying to get 3 pictures where she was looking at herself in each one, if you know what I mean.
@Matthys: I went with the montage effect for a few reasons. (1)I like the look, but then it's all personal taste, so there's no right or wrong, but I see what you mean; (2)the images aren't actually that sharp, so I thought I'd get away with it as a montage.
Genuine thanks for the feedback. Wish there was more like this on here, rather than the "click" or "ignore" phylosophy.
It works pretty well for me. I can see what you mean about the sharpness. A very attractive model. I now understand the title, where she's looking at herself in each shot. Good tones/lighting.
very nice but i think the single one on its own would work better. again that is personal taste. where did you take them
I like this. I think it works well as a montage and its a bit different. My first observation though, was thats it not sharp. The chair seems a bit sharper than the model, then I noticed yo mentioned that point in your last reply. Anyway, great piece IMO, if you get a chance to try it again, I would do it like this but sharper. Paul
Cheers guys. Taken on the club studio night last year.
Brilliant concept, expertly done.
These pictures are really excellent, and you and this model have so much potential, with your obvious skill and her looks the sky is the limit.
great lighting and comp
Was very drawn to this image as it has an Egyptian feel. Not only is the model gorgeous but so is that seat ! The montage works for me, she seems to be looking at herself, perhaps in a reflection. I like the space left on the smaller two images. What I also find striking is the black/white format, very striking.
