I deliberately over-worked the saturation & contrast in the RAW conversion, but I liked the outcome. Interested to know what you all think. Thanks for looking.

I love this image - excellent!
Good composition Trevor. The footprints lead the eye straight across the diagonal and up to the village in the distance. Regards, Dave.
@Dave: The footsteps are actually going the wrong way. The guy must have walked home backwards ;P. (anyway, they were there already (not mine!), so I just used them.
Good use of the footprints as theylead the eye to the village( regardless of which way they are going! lol). well seen and captured.
nice image and title to go with it. well done.
Nice composition and great feeling of space.
Great composition with that powerful diagonal.
The colour of the sand is gorgeopus as well.
I particularly like the contrast in colours between the softness of the grey clouds and the sharp, gritty yellow you've achieved with the sand
Nice one...like it very much!
This is a lovely image and the feel of desolation is well interpreted.
TOP CLASS, excellent, really nice
Excellent.Very effective indeed.
With out the additional work this would be rather plain---However you have bought something extra into it and it works well.
Very nice, love the way the footprints lead your eye across the photo.
Thanks for taking the time to comment guys.
Could be the inspiration for a story - lovely shot!
Well seen, the line of footprints take you nicely through the image.
Usually I like the 'real' look, but this effect works well. I can feel myself walking across the wide expanse in this otherworldly place.
A lovely shot trevor - i love the way the footprints head straight for the houses. I don't think the sat. and contrast look overworked at all - just "optimised".
PS I sent you a PM re Irish meet..
Very well seen
Great image, love the strength of colour and the foosteps in the sand...great comp.
