Waiting To Ring

By jellylegs
Taken a few weeks ago near Belmullet in the extreme North-West of Ireland. A remote, beautiful area, leading out towards Black Sod.

I stood for ages at this phone box. Nobody passed. And it just seemed to be defiant. Paint starting to peel, rust showing through, but the lights are on, so it still works. Maybe, just maybe, if I wait here long enough, someone will ring....

Tech Details:
Focal Length: 18mm (equiv. 28.8mm).
Filters: Polariser.
Tripod, cable release, mirror lock-up, & self-timer.
Exposure: 1/125 @ f11.

Thanks for looking.
