Native American II

By jelsmack
Was suggested I try this in B&W.
I wasn't too happy with the original upload, had worked on the photo on my laptop (much quicker) and then transferred it to my old comp via a memory stick, when I viewed it on the site, the reds were a bit too bold, so maybe taking the colour out altogether will improve the shot!?
All c/c most welcome. Thanks to any who take time to look Wink

For me, there's a bit too much white in the mono version. I preferred the color shot, but both capture the character very well.

Know what you mean about the white Steve, tried toning it down, but it made the image look a bit drab, anyone any suggestions?? Don't think my frame helps either, kept changing between dark and light, should have kept larger dark border I think.
thanks for comments

I like both verisons, like seeing the Am. Indians, I think you have done what you can with your image, Little bit over exposed-- You can fix this next time you shoot-- It is all about learning here-- -- something I am working on all the time!

Great face and a well positioned crop,as taggart says overexposed while shooting, not a lot you can do,nice pic though, like the colour one as well
