  • Full View.

    My favourite building.
Nice job hiding the cranes. They are a bit of a blot.

  • Walking the Harbour Bridge - Sydney

Lovely treatment with the contrast. and nice detail retained in the ironwork.

Did that a few years ago. Brings back memories.

  • My favourite stop

    Fantastic. Love the punchy contrast.
Have seen many lovely pics taken from this viewpoint - but this one for me is a cracker.
    Where exactly is this?

  • PARENTAL CASTLE, INNISFAIL QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA

This is one place I was hoping to visit when we visited your beautiful country a few years ago - but ran out of time. But we did get to the Blue Mountains. Lovely pics.

Excellent DOF. Where was the main focus point for this?

  • Happy New Year Everyone

    An excellent set of images.

But just wondering, if on Manual mode, surely the -3.3 Exp Compensation would be redundant?

  • Paris Nightscape 2015

    Definitely got the 'WOW!' factor.

    Where was the viewpoint?
    • 18 Mar 2015 6:46PM
  • Byron Bay Lighthouse

Thanks Munro - but I was lucky with the sky.
If I moved too much to the left there was too much bush in the way. Right and there was too much path.
So the end result has good lead-in lines with the fences, and being off-set, I think it they counteract the fact that the lighthouse is pretty central.
You can over-analyse, but in he end I'm pleased with it.

    You are too kind Niknut.

  • Dead Wood at Wilson's Promontory

Thanks BRITCHIE - it was a bit of a funny day weather wise - one minute the sun was out, then the cloud came over. There was cloud hanging over the top of a few peaks most of the day, and the original image vame out a little flat. So have tweaked a little in Photoshop to liven the image up a bit. Beautiful part of the world!

  • Divers Meeting Wally

Thanks dudler - I thought exactly the same about the flipper when I saw the pic. In most cases there was too much relection from the screen, the underwater housing, and my goggles to shoot exactly what I was seeing. Much of this outing was point, click, and hope.
