With the promise of clear skies forecast, I headed off to Land’s End last night in the hope of capturing a night sky full of twinkling stars. As always things didn’t turn out quite as hoped, so I had to settle for just a few stars. Fortunately for me though, among the stars that did show were easily recognizable as the Plough also known as Big Dipper or Saptarishi.
The foreground was taken at ISO 100 f/16 for 120secs using the Lee Big Stopper. The sky was taken a bit later at ISO 800 f/8 at 28sec to capture the stars.
