The first of very many that are beginning to bloom in my garden.
I've got several different colours from this pale pink through to a quite deep mauve.
Each year, as the plants die, I shake out the seeds and scatter them myself. Consequently, each year I get a larger crop than I did the previous year, with seeds to spare. I've got a pile of them in an envelope.

This all began some years ago, with some seeds that my Mum gave me which had come from plants that are growing on her Mum's (my Nan's) grave.

Fuji S5700. Set to 'macro.' Tweaked in CS6 to increase contrast and sharpened, although I missed the focal point in the taking.

I've only got the deep purple/mauve ones and despite spreading their seeds far and wide they don't seem to be too keen to multiply. Still I've about 4/5 plants dotted around the garden so better that than nothing.

Hi Ali,
Mine aren't as prolific this year as they have been in the past but then, nothing seems to be doing particularly well this year.
I've been cultivating them for about five years now, if that's the right expression, I don't actually do anything except for the business with the seeds.
This year I've got about half a dozen plants, which is fewer than usual and as yet, no mauve ones although some of the plants are still tiny so I dare say I shall get at least one when they flower.
It's too late for this year but if you'd like some seeds from the pink/lilac/two-tone ones, I shall have loads later in the year. You're more than welcome.
In fact I've still got a load somewhere from last year.
PM perhaps.

Well my blue geraniums (Mrs Buxton I think) are going to be brilliant this year - a massive heap of foliage so hopefully millions of flowers too. The tall Campanula is going to be good too - that always self seeds no problem. I've got a load of Golden Rod coming up too - I've had to thin that out a bit today Smile

The purple Aquilegia seem to have smaller flowers than usual and are, also as usual, covered in aphids. I won't spray though - I have a no bug-spray policy in my garden so everything has to take its chance Smile

Some seeds would be great - thank you Smile

Meanwhile the advert break is over - I'm watching CSI NY whilst eating apple and blackcurrant pies - a bad habit (the pies) that I must stop!

No problem.
I'll PM you nearer the time.
