Maybe not the mot inspiring shot I've ever taken but as a test of my new lens it was all that I was going to be able to get.
I took delivery this evening of a Nikon 55-300 but sadly, by the time I got hold of it, it was dark and raining outside; hardly conducive to taking random shots of not-very-interesting things that are quite a long way away.
That, I think, will be on the agenda tomorrow during my lunch break. Instead, I took the only option left open to me. I took a shot of the Dyson that lives in the corner of our bedroom.

For all of you EXIF types out there:

So, we're going to finish off the marathon with a new-lens shot.
I'll look forward to it. Smile

Hi Jack,
Yep, it will be a new lens shot but I'm not sure just how impressive it might be.
I only had about twenty minutes of my lunch break in which to get out and try it. In pretty dismal conditions too.
I'll upload something a bit later.
