Quote:It's an excellent montage — I love the globe! — but rather dark. Looking at the histogram, 95% of the image is below 55% brightness.
Thankyou

This is brilliant!
Each image in there sharp and each face is clearly recognisable, a must for this sort of thing.
As has been said, it is a touch gloomy but not unbearably so.
I'd say about fifty people (I haven't counted!) had great fun making this and that's what makes it all worthwhile. Whether you walk away with a prize or not, you've made a lot of people happy and that's quite an achievement.
Well done.
Jester.
Edit: Every year I take a photographs of the children at my daughter's lower school (I work there) to be used by each class on their 'take home' calender. I think I know how I'll be doing their photos this year!

Hi Abbey-Jade,
I don't know yet how well or otherwise you've done in the competition but I've awarded you my member's award for this image 'cos of the amount of work that must have gone into it.
Getting all the images and preparing them for the collage must have been quite a task so once again,
"Well done"!

RIGHT! ready with the drum roll - - - -
RESULTS:
1st miss_v - An excellent entry well thought out and put together, you have to look closely to see just how many faces are actually in the image. The processing in this is very good as it keeps you looking to see all the faces in the image and they blend well together.
2nd mole1999 - A great entry, love the sunglasses. Your brother's a good model and you've captured him well.
3rd Gardner - Great composition, the crop works well with the image as does the mono conversion.
4th emiyellow - We just love those masks and you've captured the detail in them very well, definately fits the theme of the competition.
5th courtneytonnacole - A cute face captured and presented very well. We love the use of colour here.
6th Kailynbateup (Muddy Face) - Typical boy! Absolutely covered in mud, but there is a huge grin shining through!
7th UBOAT - An effective shot, with nice manipulation. We like the hands, a good interpretation of the theme
8th Emmeline - A sweet little bear and you have caught him very well! Focusing on just the right sections and the lighting and background are superb!
Special mention must go to:
LukeParkinson - What an original idea! We really like the way each coin is showing the head side. Very well thought out and caught.
Zakius - This image has taken a lot of hard work and the results are brilliant. You've caught all the heads well and put them together brilliantly, we can’t believe you got your Mum to stop the traffic for you!
What we thought of the other entries
Nishad - This is a gorgeous portrait of a lovely little monkey. The lighting is good and it's focus is brilliant.
Amycrowe - Such an expressive face, even when asleep. Well caught, even through glass!
Callum - A lovely angle, good lighting and well focused. We can see all the details brilliantly.
Kit-kat - The expressions on the boys face are wonderful - he really is putting everything he's got into his dance.
OliPackwood - This is a lovely image, We like the girl in pink behind all the heavy black ironwork. Her smile is gorgeous, well caught.
Gillouis - The lighting is perfect and we like the way you've totally filled the frame with your face - very well caught.
jwt - What a gorgeous dog! Pale colours are very difficult to capture, but you've done brilliantly - and the dog posed so brilliantly for you!
Cameraboy - What a distinctive face, no one could mistake who this is. This has been caught well and the colours make for a very eye catching image.
Monkeygirl - Very nice detail and the light is beautiful on his face! No of us would like to be in a cage with him
dewie - Fantastic in B&W, a lovely close-up of the lion's face. He looks very pensive! It may be a little bright, but darkening the whites on the computer is an easy solution.
ceri_baxter - Very nice lighting, gives it a gloomy feel It would be nice to see the halfway line on the face directly down, but we can see it was difficult to achieve.
jamestheboy - A very sweet picture, which is very sharp.
Rianna_x - nice to see half of Josh's face! Doesn't look much like him from that pic as its so close up! I think it is a little bright probably from a lot of flash, but its a great idea!
Zimma02 - Nice background, worth the cycle ride! He is a little bright, because the camera exposed the light for the background.
JoshReptiles - A picture full of detail, certainly a very nice face. Nice framing on the right hand side too.
Miss_B - A lovely image, I like all the different faces - some of them really made me laugh!
WilliamRoar - The colours in this image are wonderful. I really like the point of view and angle. How on earth did someone get up there to paint the face?!.
Marcodelvalle1 - Such a wonderful face! I like the b&w conversion, it really focuses on the textures.
Digitalgirl - This is just wonderful! Not only did it make us laugh, but the lady in the background, who can only see the back of his head!
Manni96- I like the way this is put together, and he's caught the expressions brilliantly (well lit and in perfect focus).
Jonah - A lovely collections of birds, each one well caught and in lovely focus.
Once again you made our decisions really tough, well done to you all; I'll be in touch with the winners to sort out prizes
