What the leg Di? if so it is the effect of the wide angle lens and bring the foot close to the lens (about 3 inches away) on the diaginal help to distort the shape.

nice pic , i dont like cirque du soleil (if thats what you mean ?), i offered to take some good movement pics for their advertising and they didnt want to know. typical circus clowns, lol. cheers martyn

cracking photo..always fancied photographic the circus de sol...but I do not think they allow it during perfomances..quite a few normal circuses have stopped it as well.
