This is a lovely shot Jim, one I would like to have taken. The fur detail / exposure work well against the dark reflective water and I love the body position you've caught

Ooh this is nice(and I mean 'nice' in the best possible way.) Very different,and beautifully composed-wasn't sure what it was in the tumbnail,really deserves a close look.

Beautiful animals Otters see them up here on the rivers....They dont seem to mind the dogs being round at all.Watched one eating a samon on the Deveron last year..

You were very lucky to get this shot...most people can go through a lifetime and never even see one. I have only ever seen one in the wild swimming in the distance.
