Chasing Shadows

By Jimbob
Sandy and I went for a ride in the Norfolk Countryside last weekend. It was a blustery day and we tried to catch the shadows of the clouds as they danced over the farmland. Just as we set up our tripods the clouds closed tightly together without any gaps. I put the kettle on and made us a cup of tea and just waited for a break in the clouds. This is the result of about 20 minutes waiting around for the sun.

Very dramatic Jim - did you get any as the shadow crossed the hill? Might have been nice to get the sun on that lower hedgeline too? Of course it could have been going the other way!!

Interesting sky - did you use a Blue Grad - also seems to have a magenta cast to it. Nice story and sky, Cheers, Martin
