Depth of Field

This was just another shot of a rape field. But just as I pressed the shutter button, a strong gust of wind blew, with this being the result. It seems to have a different look to it. A mistake with a pleasing effect!!!

A simple image that works very well. I think it may look even better with a touch more sharpening.

I like the shallow DOF, but I think it would look better if the left of the two tall flowers wasn't right on the horizon.

Good dof and lighting, I recon you are still loosing sharpness on the resize though as a bit of USM really lifts it.

Aren't the rape seed fields just stunning right now?This is an unusual shot of them,as you say sometimes mistakes turn out the best.
