Uncomon with the comb style anteni.....

Also known as the fire beetle

Latin name: Pyrochroa serraticornis. (Schizotus Pectinicornis)

Size: Approximately 20mms long.

Distribution: Found throughout the UK.

Months seen: May to July.

Habitat: Normally found on flowers at the edges of woodlands.

Food: Feeds on other insects.
