A glass frog.

By JLWebster
Hi everyone. I have not put been doing much in the way of photography at the moment, as I am packing up my flat, we now have got a house to move into, and a garden yeahhhh.
This is an image that I took while out with family at Bentley, he was making little glass frogs and other animals. I do not normally do much close up work but I quite liked this end result. But what do you think?????
As i have recently joined a local photography club, they have got a in house comp on monday eve, this is one of my images that I have put in. I do not think i will get a good rating but i just want the feed back from the judge. Wish me luck, I think I may need it...LOL
Many thanks to every one for there words of wisdom and constuctive comments.

A great shot well done to capture so much detail with the flame giving so much light. Good luck with the competition, it is good to get comments frome someone who does not know you but remember it is only their opinion! I had a pic thrown out by a judge with nothing good to say about it and the next competition it got first place.... who was right???

Tell you the truth this is not an easy shot but you have managed well setting wise, if you want to improve a little the simply Open it in PS and go to Filter ? Sharpen > Un Sharp and then alter Amount to 71, Radius 12.7 and Threshold 1. this will give bit of sharpness and clarity.
All the best towards your competition.
