DARAHOA

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
Walking around Darahoa is an interesting way to see people working and the houses. It gives an idea of how people leave which you would not get otherwise. As everywhere else in Vietnam people were very tolerant when I took their photo.

Agriculture is important in this area as the town of Dalat is nearby and I also suspect that the vegetable grown there are sent to markets in Nha Trang and Saigon.

I was attracted by the colours of the flowers. The region of Dalat is famous for its cultivated flowers. So here are some colours to brighten up your evening after a rainy day.

Thank you very much for your response on the little boy clutching his Mumís hand. Your comments are always valued.

Have a nice evening,
Jean-NoŽl

It's a wonder they survive going to market in one piece - a lovely view of life there.

Yes, it's rainy here today too. Shot #1 is my favorite for the color, detail, and framing, but what a nice collage to illustrate life in this village. An excellent series.

Wonderful series, I love the French Colonial archetecture in Vietnam (No 4) and the way that even the dirt streets are usually swept absolutely clean.

Quite a lot of what we saw in Portugal looked like this-- Houses were made of stones, but the disarray of cables, etc--even antennae, and the lovely people working at tasks-- Wonderful images you show us!
