MARKET IN KON TUM

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
Markets are fascinating in Vietnam because of all
the food on display, the smells, the colours and the noise not to mention the people.

The atmosphere is busy, friendly and quite hectic. Noone refused to have their photo taken. The lady with the typical Vietnamese cigar posed for this photo. She liked the results and gave me a lovely smile.

There are people in the indoor market, in the alley ways, on the pavement and on the streets. You can buy fresh fish still swimming in some buckets, live chicken, ducks, frogs ... etc... as well all sorts of vegetable and fruit. For us it's very cheap for the Vietnamese it's a different story but they seem to be well fed, judging by the quality of the produce on display. They have a well balanced diet.

The photos were taken in the morning as that 's the time when everybody goes to the market.

Hoping you enjoy this series on Kontum's market as you enjoyed the previous uploads. There are still a few more photos to come in the near future as I've been having a great time shooting away. Long live digital!!!!!!!!!!!!
Previously I would have needed a few hundred rolls of films to take all the photos I wanted.

Thank you for your previous comments and thank you in advance for leaving some on this new upload.

Enjoy th esunny evening,

Jean-NoŽl
