Continuing with the series of the pilgrimage to the Perfume Pagoda at the time of the Vietnamese Buddhist festival of Chua Huong which lasts about 3 months.

About 40 000 pilgrims a day take the metal flat bottom boats in My Doc. The boat journey lasts about one hour and you can see temples, rice fields, banana plantation as well as lots of egrets.

At the height of the festival there can be 5000 boats on the river.

Your delicate color captures are showing us much about this festival--- Wonder, If the boats tip, is is deep-- looks risky to my eyes-- seems to work, tho!
