SONG CAI

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
“Traces of human settlement in Nha Trang date back to the Cham Empire, though in times of Vietnamese rule, there wasn’t much more than small fishing villages.
The French recognized that this beautiful bay, with its islands and white sand beaches, made for a perfect bathing spot, and began the transformation into a resort town. American soldiers agreed, and it became a favorite vacation stop during the war.” (Wikitravel.org)

The photos were taken from a bridge overlooking the harbour on the river Song Cai. This gives you an idea of the beautiful setting of Nha Trang as well as a view of some of the houses/schacks in this part of the town..

Thanks a lot for your response for the photos of the superb beach, sand, palm trees …etc…

Have a nice sunny and pleasant evening,

Mousing over the three versions gives a strange effect, like a window opening and closing. I think it has to be V1, which packs so much in without ever seeming cramped.

Difficult for me to choose from a photographic poin of view - what I do find striking is the obvious difference in the housing - I've seen that in North Africa as well - the affluent next to people whom are bearly scraping through - so from this point of view shots with huge impact, well seen and captured.
