The Japanese Anenome are bringing late colours and delight in many gardens at the moment. They are great flowers as they can grow in the shade or a sunny place. They are related to the buttercup family ( Ranunculaceae).

f16 1/80thsec touch of flash natural mid-afternoon light

All photos were taken in my garden one sunny day in late September. I had fun using different apertures. Tell me which version you like best.

A delightfully soft and beautiful set of flowers.
v2 is my favorite, since it isolates the flower better, and has less distraction in the background.
