VIETNAM 2013 #33

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
Just about 64 miles (40 km) from Vam Ray Pagoda (see previous up-loads), driving through rice paddies, backed by coconut and water palms, you reach the town of Tra Vinh, an outback market town which has kept its French colonial influence with tree-lined streets.

The Tra Vinh province boast 140 pagodas and Tra Vinh itself has some very beautiful Khmer pastel painted pagodas. Chua Wat Khuone is one of them.

For the start of the series, here are various views of various statues and buildings within the grounds of the pagoda.
