PILGRIMAGE at 21/03/2008 - 19:23
Here are some highlights of my wonderful trip to Vietnam (February-March 2008).
I went with the idea of taking photos of landscape and flowers but came back with lots of portraits of people taken in the streets, markets, beaches ...etc... and overwhelmed by the kindness of the Vietnamese.

I've discovered the land where my great grand father built some important buildings in Hanoi, where my grand father explored the Central Highland looking for orchids and where my Mother lived as a child.
MARY ROSE (2) at 16/09/2008 - 11:36
A few flowers from my garden taken last summer when weather permitted.
LANYU’S BEAUTY #6 at 04/05/2009 - 17:40
"WELCOME TO TAIWAN" has been the greeting of the nice Taiwanese people everywhere I went when visiting this charming and fascinating island. It's not on the favourite list of many tourists but it ought to be.

VIETNAM’S FUTURE at 04/01/2011 - 17:14
This album contains photos taken during a recent journey started in Saigon and then along the coast towards villages in the North Chinese border.

The main aim of the trip was to go to areas where the hill tribe people are still wearing traditional costumes and where the markets are the most incredible places to visit.

It was a real adventure, rich in going through beautiful landscapes and meeting so many friendly people.
CHIAYI LANTERN FESTIVAL (2) at 02/03/2011 - 17:40
Taiwan is an unusual destination therefore you're not going to find many tourists there, except friendly and welcoming Taiwanese..

The country is fairly small and the transport system is very good which means you can travel everywhere without problem (trains, buses, boats, planes).

Food is fine. Hotels are cheap and comfortable. The people are great and will do anything to help you. Some speak English but you can make yourself understood with gestures, drawings, smiles ....
HA NOI (35) at 12/02/2012 - 18:07
I'm fascinated by Vietnam, the scenery and the wonderful people.

The photos in this album were taken in April and May 2011 in remote villages in North East Vietnam as well as in Cat Ba (an island near Ha Long Bay) and Ha Noi.
GREAT OCEAN ROAD #14 at 08/07/2012 - 19:44

Images from May 2013 taken in The Kimberley (far North of Western Australia). The place is huge, rugged, awsome, wild and full of surprises.
