TEA FLOWER

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
Motian is a small village high in the Central Mountain where altitude tea or Mountain Tea is grown at an altitude of 15oom. It is a few kilometres above Lidao and Wulu (see previous up-loads)

I was very pleased to see the tea plantations in a mountainous setting and was surprised and thrilled to see some flowers in January.

In this series youll see various stages of opening of the tea flower. It is quite small (about 1,5 cm wide).

Hoping youll enjoy seeing the flower of UKs favourite drink.
