A fine shot indeed, well detailed and merits Ade's award (which we all know is VERY special)
strange they sit on these flowers, here they never go for those.. they prefer clover and scabious.

Wonderful details and textures. Sadly there have been no sightings of any sort of butterflies around here of late, thanks to "summer" weather!

Great shot.


Don't think I saw more than 12 butterflies during the whole of last year, and the way the weather is going, could be a similar story this year as well.
