The Lone Camel

Just a couple this morningof the camels one can come across as there are many of ferrel camels
in the desert.
Many were used by trekkers during the early exploring years and were left to fend for them selves
like (Burk and Wills) that perished trying to get from Adelaide to the sea in the north. The camels
being tuff survived and bredhence the odd one or two.
We had a lazy week-end really but a busy week ahead to prepare for, have a good one to all.

So unusual to see a camel in this ' Red zone ' all to himself. Not exactly skin and bones so must be doing quite well. Looks great in this setting. TG

If I'm not mistaken, camels originally were native to Australia, not in the Middle East or Arab countries as many believe. Two lovely captures here, Jocelia Smile
