Think this is a pix that deserves at least ten times the votes its gotten up to now. Really good effort put in in all respects - pity this site has started to reward mostly the pornographers and not those really artful attempts like yours.

    Well done !!

    Hi Jill,

You just keep turning out magnificent stuff that also wrenches at the conscience, especially at these times when "the rest of us" suffer from our excesses for days on end ! With this photo, in my humble opinion, there appears to be just a spot too much flash / overexposure, but as always, brilliantly done !

How come the late / early hour ? Too much rain in your area?

    Johan (from over the mountain).

This must be as close to perfect as a reflection photo could come -- well done indeed ! I think the votes should be closer to 2000!!

The kind of picture that generates a "wish I was there"-feeling. Really like its busy-ness and the array of colour.

You really have it mastered - can't find anything that might make it look different - brilliant.

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for breaking out with something other than the black dog / yellow eyes that has become somewhat of a stereotype. Very pleasant shot.

    Hi Richard,

This path is a pass over the Outeniqua mountains linking Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay (where I live) here in South Africa's Southern Cape region. It is really impressive - unfortunately from the road one looks east into the sun, and afternoons the son dips behind a continuation of the same mountain on the other side of the road, so limits photographic opportunities.
