i tend to err towards a darker image myself so you'll hear no complaint from me! however i would be interested as to why you were using such a low ISO when the 5-3 has so much scope to make life easier

Nice shot and the patience taken just to capture it is some feat. But you do seem to have the lens lenght for the job. I can appreciate what you were trying to achieve with wing detail. I would have thought that if the exposure was slightly darker would have brought out more detail?
