My god John this can only be described as brilliant shot of a beautiful red. This shot IMO as everything about it with great detail captured throughout.

The log with moss, the squirrels pose with nut, complimentary background & ground foilage to frame base of image. Awesome & excellent photography!!

If was to nit pick then I would look at cloning over the blown areas of the log but that is very very minor

A superb shot in every way! I love it. Are you sure you didn't ask it to pose for you.

I've only ever seen one Red Squirrel and I had to take the shot so quickly so it's not too sharp
