I just wanted to give an open 'Thank You' to those that have tried to reassure me about my forthcoming operation.

It's only a small op, may even be under local anaesthetic, but I've never had any kind of surgery before and have been feeling quite anxious about it. My current mood is one of 'Well John, just get it done and get on with the rest of your llfe'. Hopefully this mood will prevail for the next 13 weeks.

Right. That's the last I'm saying about that (until the time comes?). Photographically, I'm in a bit of a lull too. Haven't dragged my camera out of the bag since I was at Donington almost two weeks ago. It's not that I don't want to, my problem is that I can't think of what to shoot. Any suggestions?

This week, I've spent the evenings out in the garden doing a bit of much needed tidying. I've got the outlaws coming to stay next weekend and I want to get the garden furniture out of the garage before the summer's over. My father-in-law loves to sit out in our garden on a sunday morning with a full toast rack and a jar of marmalade.

That's my weekend planned then...

Well the forecast in our neck of the woods is not very good for Saturday, so I hope it doesn't spoil your plans.
