The Buachaille

Another from the archives! .... and yes I know it's another pic of Buachaille Etive Mor which we see all the time, but I just can't pass by without stopping for a photo!
This was shot back in October. I've been playing about with square crops in PS and feel it works in this image, what do you all think?

1/40 sec @ f22, iso 100, taken at 20mm end of EF 17-40 L lens on a 5D.

I don't think you can see too many shots of this view - truely spectacular. I must get up there some day.

I like the square crop - think it works well and sets off the composition nicely.

Quite a contrast to my last couple of posts of the 'Buckle'. Lovely light, which brings out the detail in the hill.

It works well~certainly finishes the image off nicely and adds depth to the colours.

Square crop works well here-- I .ike to use square crops-- and like to see them used to advantage as nicely as this one is!
