Squall

By JohnEW
This is a complete re-work of an earlier version, this time using Photomatix to combine 4 RAW conversions for each of the 4 separate frames constituting this panorama.

Please give this one a chance & open the BIG image Smile.

Taken in Autumn 2006 as a squall passed over Crummock Water & Buttermere (the latter just visible on the right).

Wonderful wide angle view, with Grasmoor on the left and Fleetwith Pike on the right, well done.

Well worth all the work. A wee bit oversaturated perhaps?

Thanks for c&C. Pat, yes, I think, in retrospect, that the blue sky, in particular, is overdone. It's the bit I'm least pleased with since it also shows up slight haloing. However, I was going for impact this time around (c.f. previous attempt , may be more to your taste) Wink.
