Tulip Stem

Third in a series of tulips. This was a home grown tulip, laid on watercolour paper and photographed. Converted to B&W using channel mixer; grain effect added; selenium tone applied; pale yellow layer added to give the background some warmth.

Not sure whether the texture shows very clearly here, but it looks good on the large print !

Probably too "fine art" for many people's tastes, but if you got this far then do leave a comment. Thanks.
