First class, Ron, and as you so rightly say, the perfect pose to show off his glorious plumage. Carol

Terrific capture of this so-hard-to-capture shy bird, Ron. Wonderful pose showing off the beautiful plumage patterning and colours to full advantage, plus fine eye and facial detail. Posing perfectly for you in those lovely natural surroundings.

The pose shows the plumage well, but also gives a good shape to the bird for a lovely balanced composition.

How gorgeous! Is this the type of Jay you have there? We only have the blue jay and occasionally a Canadian Jay.

A superb capture Ron. This is one of the british species I have had no luck at all in capturing. This is a clear and crisp image with good color and a great Jizz. Love the way it shows the colors in the wing too. A

I have a pair in the garden, they are quite tame - or cheeky - can feed them from the hand. Beautiful birds.
