I use a Nikon D810 camera, I shoot nef raw mode this has only happened when I import the raw images into my PC using a Sandisc Extreme USB 2.0 reader and attached to the PC via a cable into a USB port on the PC. When the import is finished I get a message saying that the image file showing on the PC, that the file is not recognized this can happen to all of them or just a few images. I would appreciate any help as to what is causing this problem I have. Thanking You John Steadman.

I have a Nikon D810 camera and have set it up for BBF, it works fine when I use the 14-24 lens and the 24-70 lens. But I fitted the 70-200 lens on 2.8 G11ED VR and it does not focus with this lens fitted onto the body.
I would appreciate any help as to why it will not work with this lens fitted.
    Thanking You.

I would appreciate any advice on importing raw images into LR. My wife has recently died and she done it for me, I should have taken more notice how she done it. Any advice from Ephotozine members would be very much appreciated, as it is something I need to get to grips with.
    Thanking you.

Thank you Tony for the Google link and for taking the trouble to find out more, and also to themak for your reply, the raw images I have taken on these three low ISO settings I cannot see any real advantage in IQ. So I shall just use the standard ISO range.
Many Thanks to both of you.

I have the Nikon D810 and try to keep the Iso range settings some ware between Iso 64 and 1,000 Iso, if I am shooting a landscape I use a tripod. Other times I will use a monopod or hand hold the camera.
Do any of you photographers have any information on the three low Iso settings on the D810, ie L0.3/ L0.7 & L1.0, I wondered if they might be worth using in high contrast scenes , do any of you use these settings.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you all for the information I now what to do know. I have had Epson printers before 3800 &3880 and have also used the printer until the cartridge ran out but was not shure if I could use the same procedure with the canon.
My last printer was the 3880 and was just over 2 years old and would not print correctly anymore. Epson wanted 540-00 to come and have a look at it, and may have to make a 2nd visit, if they could not fix it on the first visit.
This came as rather a shock so decided that money would be better put towards a new printer, I am very pleased with the canon so far.
    Thanking you all.

I have recently bought a Canon pixma pro 1 printer, and would appreciate some advice, a couple of the inks are running low, and are getting a warning message showing that they will need replacing. Can I carry on using the printer to print images until the ink runs out, or do I need to replace the cartridges now. Having only had Epson Printers before, this new printer is a new learning curve but the prints I have done so far, I am very pleased with them they are very good, I have been getting better prints using the Canon print software over Lightroom at the moment.

    Hi everyone.

After a bit more thought I decided to go for a NVIDIA Graphics card GTX 660, which should be an improvement over the one I have now. Hopefully.

    Regards to you all.

Thank you all for your further post's, I have checked with Eizo and there answer was that the card I have should be OK. So now I have decided to try the card with the monitor when it arrives and see how it performs. Reading through your comments and advice you all have far more technical knowledge than I have.

Thank you all for your prompt replies and the information you have given me.

I have since found out that the graphics card I have is probably adequate for the monitor, so I will give that a try first and see how things work out. I don't do video games, I have photoshop cc now and after processing I print from A4 up to A2.

    Many thanks

I have purchased an Eizo monitor from the photography show at the NEC . that has a resolution of 2560 by 1440 & 10 bit. Has anyone any advice as to a suitable NVidia Graphics card for use with this monitor and my PC. The card installed in my PC at present Is a NVidia GT220 but is only bit. As I would like if possible to get it set up correctly, it will be only used for images for large prints and AV's.
Any help and advice much appreciated
