I am interested in all forms of photography. I started many years ago, my first camera
was a Yashica 135 then an old EXA eventually gravitating to an Ikelite housing. Stuck mostly to Canons AE1, A1, T70, T90, EOS 600, 90D, Eos R. Used a Hasselblad for studio work with A Mamiya RB67. For many years used a dark room for Mono Prints, colours prints and colour reversals and competed at international level. Eventually
progressing to teaching underwater photography and the search for a Great white, I never did see one but have come up close and personal to most others, without any cages. I built my own colour processor from a steel bin, a wiper motor and some pulleys.
I spent most of my life Diving in the South Atlantic and Indian Ocean, looking for sharks and giving lectures on Photography, diving and sharks. People like Jacques Cousteau and Ron and Valerie Taylor being my Idols. I was lucky to visit The sharks board in Umhlanga many times and did courses when I began my journey many years ago.
