Female Kingfisher

Female Kingfisher - taken today at a local pond, after noticing her diving for fish.

Set up my portable hide and within 20 minutes she landed very close to me.

Fantastic shot, one of those birds still on my wish list. Only ever seen them for a long long way away, never close enough to take a picture. Very envious Smile
