Cuillin Water

By JohnParminter
One of the streams that run off the Cuillin into Glen Brittle. Unfortunately don't know how to pronounce it.

This is my personal favourite of the shots I took on my recent trip to Skye.

Thanks for looking.

Large is available.

Wonderful image, the detail in the large version is superb. Great landscape, colour and light.
You don't have to be able to pronounce the name if you can photograph it like this John, bonnie afternoon light down Glen Brittle.

All the very best

Cheers Chris, got conflicting views on the pronounciation now, 'maddie' or 'vadda' ???

Quote:Cheers Chris, got conflicting views on the pronounciation now, 'maddie' or 'vadda' ???

'Mh' tends to be pronounced 'V' and at least one of the 'D's is silent, probably the second. Possibly both Grin , thus 'Vay'
