Gillean's Pinnacles

By JohnParminter
The Pinnacle Ridge of Sgurr nan Gillean. This ridge is never really appreciated when viewed from Sligachan and it doesn't really come into profile unless viewed from high up on the Cuillin ridge, this shot taken from Sgurr a' Bhasteir.

Wonderful ridge/peak image, the detail immaculate: so much to take in here with so many classic mountain features including the effects of weathering.

Not really Bill, I was sat on my backside here keeping out of the wind, all very sedate I have to say.

Cheers both of you.

What a beautiful mountain! I would so love to see it from this location, but think the Cuillin Ridge is a little bit beyond me.
