Continuing yesterday's blog, I always wanted to learn the piano but wasn't able to through childhood. As an adult I learned for a while, then other things crowded it out and now, finally, I'm back to that learning process and picking up where I left off. That's one aspect of music, but equally well there are so many different styles, eras, artists and I would have loved to have been more involved in it all. Being chairman of the Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons Appreciation Society in the 1970s let me see all sorts of insights, but the process never stops. Being chairman now of the Atherton & District Amateur Photographic Society makes me think it must be fate that I only get involved with organisations will Infeasibly Long Names. No wonder we call it ADAPS for short.
