Amelia Jane and the W90

28 Feb 2014 9:08PM   Views : 435 Unique : 291

Amelia Jane is four years old and we took her to Dunham Massey today. I showed her how to use the Pentax W90, progressing from simple shooting to using the zoom control. So today the Blog shows Amelia with the camera and then a selection of the photos she took. I've adjusted levels and added sharpening, also correcting some of the tilt on the first few, but these are mainly just as Amelia shot them. It's another advantage of waterproof/shockproof cameras that even if she had dropped it (she didn't) it wouldn't really have mattered. She had a great time and it seems she has a pretty good sense of composition right from the start.

Here is Amelia with the Pentax W90:

The Golden Days of Motoring, Part Two

Continuing the look at yesterday's classic car show, I could have spent many more hours looking at these fine machines and chatting to their owners, plus of course collecting a huge set of images. Only one car that I would like to see again seemed to...
