I've watched Doctor Who since the very first episode and was captivated from the very start. There has been some fantastic television produced over the past 50 years, and such a variety of styles under the one title.
I'll have a look for some older shots when I have time, but for now here's some that are in my Portfolio today. These were shot on the Pentax K10D with the SMC Pentax-DA 16-45mm f/4 lens. Low light photography has never been easier than it is now with our digital cameras. When I shot these setting ISO 1600 was seen as quite daring by some, but it was good enough, especially under the varied mixed lighting of an exhibition. Even the f/4 lens was fast enough.
Now of course we lament that ISO 51200 shows a bit of noise....oh how spoilt we have become! At the other extreme, I've been selling a few of my stock of old glass plates, some of them dating as far back as the 1940s. (I didn't buy them new, I'm not that old!) I was astonished to hear that one buyer is using them as is and getting good results from a setting of ISO 1 (yes, one) and 12 minutes development. Remarkable. I will never complain about ISO settings again.
