Future Past at Arley Hall

We'll be back to Arley Hall soon, and hopefully by April. When we get there in April, it will look very much like the shots I include today, which were shot in April, just not April this year. They were taken with the tiny Pentax I-10 when Sue and I had matching compact cameras, mine in white, hers in black. These days, we have matching MX-1 compacts, mine in black and hers in silver. Such teamwork! When we first started off in digital photography the path we chose was for Sue to get her new upgraded camera first, then mine would follow. We followed that pattern for a while, but eventually we both upgraded at the same time, although not necessarily with exactly the same model. The last APS-C body upgrade was the K-3 for Sue (with built in flash) and the K-3 II for me (no built in flash). I think we have now learnt that we don't need to continually upgrade any more as there are no bad cameras and technically things have plateaued apart from minor upgrades to systems. It's an arguable point and I can be persuaded.....

But, back to Arley, and let's see what we might have in store.
