Life is full of expectation at the moment - a bit of optimism perhaps that we might get out and about soon. Today a selection of images from Elvington, the York Air Museum, that remind us of some of the things that can be interesting, evocative, emotional even as these veterans meet up. These are the few that defended our shores and gave us the freedoms that we would like back as soon as this pandemic eases up.
