Last Chance for Arley Hall

6 Oct 2014 11:23AM   Views : 456 Unique : 324

Well last chance for the 2014 season anyway, this month entry price is reduced and the flower beds are still worth photographing. Come to think of it, the Tudor Barn Restaurant is also worth a visit for a leisurely lunch. This is one of those places I love to visit again and again, and I've used it for many a camera or lens review. The photographic subjects are very varied, so there's plenty of scope. For the past few years Sue and I have taken out a joint season ticket, which has paid off very well for us.

Sunday was probably our penultimate visit of this season, and there were a few things that inspired me to use the Pentax MX-1 that is my constant companion!

The Golden Days of Motoring, Part Two

Continuing the look at yesterday's classic car show, I could have spent many more hours looking at these fine machines and chatting to their owners, plus of course collecting a huge set of images. Only one car that I would like to see again seemed to...
