Looking Back

7 Apr 2014 2:58PM   Views : 3355 Unique : 588

Sometimes when we have lots of new pictures to process there are quite a few that get passed over, usually I think because we are itching to get to the next new ones. When these older images were on negative film, they might never be looked at again. Digital is something else though, and all my images since I "went digital" in 2005 are just as accessible as all the new ones.

So I have a second look, from time to time. Sometimes I find shots that I'm surprised I overlooked, so they get a chance to see the light of day. Maybe it's just because the mood changes, and what I wasn't in the mood for in 2005 I just might be in the mood for now.

Here's a few that have emerged from the process:

I make a point of always carrying a camera, just to capture anything and everything that catches my eye as we carry on with the minutiae of life. I was in Atherton and just heading for the shop that sells fuses and passed a small alleyway that used t...

The Golden Days of Motoring, Part Three

For the final part of this short sequence of motoring based blogs, a glimpse of something that would be a terrific find for anyone. Perhaps there's an old disused barn on your land, perhaps one day you decide to clear it out and perhaps withiong you ...

The Golden Days of Motoring, Part Two

Continuing the look at yesterday's classic car show, I could have spent many more hours looking at these fine machines and chatting to their owners, plus of course collecting a huge set of images. Only one car that I would like to see again seemed to...
