I don't usually go shopping, except for cameras of course, but Bethany (eldest Grandaughter) asked me to take her, so off we went. It was the usual mix of food stalls and strange gift stalls. Who can resist a pulled pork, apple sauce and stuffing barm cake? Or perhaps a German Sausage? Photographically, there are possibilities, so I took along the Pentax MX-1, and this is what I found to shoot.
Bethany, Grandaughter and sometimes model, enjoyed her Hot Chocolate. She kept the mug of course.
Vintage singing from this lively gentleman. Beth suggested I might break into the Frankie Valli version of his song, but i resisted this time.
Two busy elves selling something, but it was all the colour of them and their stand that I found interesting.
Dad and Junior enjoying the markets.
A very nice rendition of Silent Night from this young group.
A market stall with the crowds beyond.
At some point it became incredibly busy so we retreated. "Where are we going?" asked Beth.
"Do you mean geographically or philosophically?" I asked.
"Philosophically of course, " she said.
"Then we're going to lunch." And so we did. (With apologies to the late Douglas Adams)
