Back to the miniature Pentax Q-S1 for this trip, along with its splendid 06 Telephoto zoom lens. This 15-45mm f/2.8 optic is actually pretty good and it's ideal for situations where something unobtrusive is needed. This might be concerts, outdoor theatre or even a small animal zoo just near Junction 35 on the M6. Daughter Hazel, granddaughters Bethany and Sophie and grandson Finn all wanted a day out, so there we were. A perfect, sunny morning and travelling light. Composing an image in bright daylight might not be easiest thing when using a back screen on a compact CSC, but it can be done with a bit of practice. And this is what I came up with, or at least a selection of what I came up with!

Baby Meerkat

Meerkats on Parade

False Tomato Frog
A fun day out, albeit it quite expensive, and not a bad place to practice a bit of photography.
