We do like the museums that show us past times, from the large sites such as Beamish, Black Country Museum and Crich to the small local museums that can be surprisingly interesting. When we are in Yorkshire we always spare a few hours for the Beck Isle Museum in Pickering. Life Jim, but not as we know it today......Victorian rooms, old shops, and out back a large space for outbuildings that contain even more gems of yesteryear.
Photographically, a standard zoom with ISO as high as it needs to be will produce good results. An ultra-wide zoom adds versatility, and these days I would be looking to use my Pentax K-1 full frame DSLR with the 20-35mm f/4 or the 17-28mm Fish-eye Zoom lenses. ISO could happily racked up to 6400, and beyond if necessary.
Now for some shots from the Beck Isle Museum.
